Say, I just got an excellent idea, what about a moss covered spray bar? Right now I have a black painted 1/2" PVC spraybar. But what if I coated the pipe with gravel some how, and attached various mosses and ferns to it? you think this might "hide" the spray bar some how?

That should work. might be a bear if you ever wanted to clean it.

I don't know that much about plants but it seems like a cool idea. Only problem I can think of is if the moss ends up growing over the holes in the spray bar inhibiting the flow but i suppose you could always just trim it to keep that from happening. Cool idea.

I like the sound of it. Could create an interesting look. For a test...take some silicone and rub a light layer around it then roll it in the sand. That should do ya for the sand part. Presure of the spray might deter growth over the holes but if not, a little snip here, a little snip there...go for it. Post pics of progress.

Try it and let us know how it turns out. Could do the same with the filter intake tubes.

Silicone might not work, another type glue might though, I'll have to try.

Thanks for the sand idea, I was planning on using gravel, but sand should work just as well.
