What does spawning look like?

I have two zebra loaches and I was wondering what spawning looks like. I read that no one has ever seen them spawn in captivity.

Do all loaches spawn the same way or does it vary from specie to specie? Mine swim up against each other a lot so I was wondering...
 
I dunno. They're about maybe 3 1/2 inches long.
