...you mixed together a bunch of different Neocaridina species? What would their offspring look like? Has anybody tried this?

its not advised because everything would become a hybrid.
There would be several different colorations, and patterns...
it would be difficult to reproduse any specific traits because you wouldnt know who the parents were.

Short-term might produce some interesting shrimplets. I've seen reds with yellow "plates" (I'm not shrimp savvy), which I assumed were a cross of reds and yellows. Long-term, they'd probably all end up looking like the wild-caught specimen.

Thats what i thought they would all end up just being a sorta *mushy* color-if that makes sense:)
What I've read is that they will breed back to their wild coloration which is basically clear/gray with brown spots.

you would undo lots of peoples hard work to get nice color strains, lol

Well, it's not like I plan on selling or anything. But if they all revert back to wild coloring, then I guess I won't do it. I'm not really planning on breeding my cherries though I know that they do it themselves anyways so I don't really care too much about color.
