ok so whyl picking my firemouth today, i noticed that alot of them had like a green tint to them, and the others were gray, so i tryed to scoop out the gray one, and on was very pretty, and when i got him in the bag and home i noticed that he also had the green tint, will this go away, is it bad, what is it, how can i get it to go away???? please help

The fish are probably just stressed. Give them a day or so to adjust to their new tank and they will color up.

What you're seeing is their "fright" coloration. They all do it, it was more pronounced when we would get them in from the wild in the 70's, they would look horrible for a week. If they're not coloring up, try adding more hiding places for them until they colour up.

and well now he thinks hes a schooling fish, he stay up in the plants, and doesnt really like the botom

35 Gal. hex: 1 firemouth, 6 Harlequin Rasboras, 1guppies, 5 neon tetras, one clown pleco,

If this is your stocking you can count on losing most of these when your Firemouth gets bigger. You are trying to mix aggressive and community fish.

ohh ya i know that
