Over in the USA I gather it's normal to explicitly state the colour temperature on bulbs. Here it isn't, but I've found how to establish it.
On the bulb and/or box will be a three figure number - something like "827" is pretty standard. The last two figures x 100 give the colour temperature - in this case 2700K (yep, pretty yellow and useless for plants).
