bn plecos

its probably a good idea to keep plecos and wood together regardless of the species. even if they dont eat the wood perse, they can make a good den out of it and most like to rest on it and graze on the stuff growing on the wood itself.

:iagree: My BN plecos don't eat the woods but they like to hide there all the time although they have to move constantly around or let the snails trample them around.

Well a BN pleco id from the Ancistrus genus, and there is well over 40 diffrent variants/species (75% of which are Sp.)
some need wood some don't, just like some need strong current and others don't
unless your good (and I mean REALLY good at doing pleco ID's) it's better you get a stick in that aquarium
