Our LFS recently got a 10'' Catfish. It was golden yellow brown, with the head and face of a Brown Bullhead Cat, with a thicker and more robust body. The adipose fin was long, the tail was squared off, and slightly forked. It had a single dusky stripe going from behind the eye to the caudal peduncle. Originally I thought Synodontis but the body and tail were very robust and not built for speed so I'm thinking Bagarius, like a Lancer Cat, Black Upside-Down or Siamese Barred Cat. It was labeled as "One-Striped Catfish."
Any ideas??

No, Pimelodus= Pictus or Shovelnose. definatly not. Long adipose fin...either in Bagriadae or the genus Synodontis.
