Caught the pygmaeus in the act!

Went downstairs to put the camera away and saw a flurry of activity in the pygmaeus cory tank. As anyone with pygmy cories will tell you....they are the no-see-um fish! Caught them in a couple of groups spawning, and this is the only time they become now-you-see-um fish! If you look carefully, third picture from the bottom, she is holding an egg to place on the plant. Last picture, in the center is an egg.

Bunny they do breed easily. The fry are the tiniest fry you will ever see. The biggest hurdle is keeping the fry alive past the first 2 weeks.

Preeths - that is some of my taiwan moss. The whole top of it is full of new growth. If you're interested, I have one portion yet for sale under classifieds.

I was able to spot two fry in the pygmaeus tank, a few days old. One cooperated for a picture, the other one went back into the gravel. These are extremely tiny fry.
