I was mostly testing out the new flash... don't have a cable to allow me to set it on top of the tank yet, but some of these turned out ok. I might go back through and crop some before resizing them so more of the detail is retained, but some of these are decent.
I'll start off with a couple of Quasimodo. (I've had him for almost 3 years... adopted him because his spine was kinda messed up. What can I say, I had some sympathy for him because I have lumbar scoliosis)

Evidently one of the yoyos wanted in on some of this action.

(these are all manual-focused... that would have been the best shot of the night of Quasimodo, but I still think it has some comical value. The yoyos are so darn playful...)
One of my corys

And another yoyo invasion

A few shots of the female bettas (who, strangely enough, seem to like hanging out with the yoyos... lol)

I've heard of heterochromis... but this one takes it a step further!

This one was hiding behind something for most of the shoot..

But eventually warmed up to the camera

Here's a few miscellaneous pictures of the yoyos (not the easiest to get... the little buggers like to be on the move constantly)

Even though they're quite elusive while aiming the lens at them... they just can't stay away from it whenever I'm aiming at someone else.

And, last but certainly not least, a few of my male betta in his 6g fortress of solitude. :p:
