I saw this cichlid at the LFS today and was wondering what it is?
-the one in the middle reddish orange with blue in the fins

Looks like an aulonocara ('peacock') and that particular variant is often referred to as Eureka, Strawberry, Sunrise or German Red.
Its a captive bred colour morph - developed in eh germany I think :D and very attractive fish. Keep with similar species (Malawi, peacocks ideally) in a large (over three foot in length) tank.

thanks Coler its cool to see an Irish fish keeper. When I was in Dublin in the summer I went to a little fish shop that was nice. My parents are from County Tipperary, Cashel to be exact.

My mum's family are from about 25 miles from Cashel :)
looks like a peacock or a kenyi cichlid.
Im not great with african cichlids. =(
