I have a 37 gal tank which I am finally beginning to stock. It will be comprised mainly of softies with a couple LPS thrown in. I currently have 2 MJ1200 on a wavemaker that alternate approx 5 secs and a Nano Koralia that is on 12/7. Also is my return pump from my fuge which is diverted to 3 different directions, but I know that this is usually not counted as part of the turnover. Am I correct in thinking that you only count 1 MJ because only 1 runs at a time? (ie: nano 240 gph + MJ1200 295 = 535gph) If so, this gives me about 14.5x turnover. Is this enough, or should I add another PH or 2? Any advice is welcomed. Thank you.

In my opinion the suggested 10x is not often enough so your 15x would seem fine.
I would however suggest replacing the mj1200 with seio's or similar as the flow form a conventional powerhead is to linear for a really good reef.
Also in time as you add corals etc you will move ph's about to eliminate dead spots or slow/fast flow so 15x is a good place to start.

I am aware of how narrow the MJs are, even with the diverters, but I know the koralias are no good on a wavemaker, do you have experience with the seio or something similar on a wavemaker? If it helps, I am seriously considering purchasing an AC Jr. which uses a "soft-start".
