off topic/ PDF question

It is, as has been said...you cant unlock a PDF without the owner allowing this..Its one of the options you have when you create a PDF in Adobe Acrobat. You can, if you have Adobe Acrobat ( not reader ), use the text selector tool to copy the text and paste into your choice of text editor.

Thanks Reefscape,so with a program like Adobe Acrobat 9 professional I could do this? ( sorry, I am not a techie ) I need to put together a Basic Automotive Electrical manual for some techs at work and I need information from a couple different e books that I can locate and some of the information is not needed so I would like to combine the information and also simplify it. Thanks again
