I said it was interesting(just as i would think a squirrel doing summer-saults is interesting), not bad, why was my post deleted?

It is part of the cleanup as there are responses that needed deletion.

Very interesting ... small suggestion on the title bar try and use a picture that does not require you to distort the image it really makes it stand out and also try to unclutter it. As a professional forum browser :-) that would make your site more appealing.

Thank you for the constructive criticism, Sounguru, and thank you unvmyplecos for your faith in FWM.

I recently joined Mostlycichlids as junior partner at Freshwater Madness. Mostlycichlids, myself, and the staff at FWM are dedicated to providing a quality, open-minded forum to discuss all aspects of freshwater aquaria. We are working on the site with the goal of providing a unique experience, different from other forums. Constructive criticism is appreciated and welcome. I have no intention of abandoning AC completely and I don't believe MC does either, but we welcome any and all with an interest in freshwater aquaria and herps to visit and join as a supplement to their regular forums.

Thanks to everybody for your support, hope to see some of you at FWM occasionally as well!

What Wyite said....As a member of AC and MFK I can say I love the Monster Aquaria Network. AC and MFK actually inspired me to create FWM. It is a fun place and a work in progress. Thanks to anyone who comes and looks, thanks Unvymyplecos for your support as well.

1. The coding needs to be looked at. I think its the H1 tag, but when you load the home page, the page title is "Affiliates"

2. There is no direct link to the forums that I see on the homepage. Do I have to register before I can view them?

3. Lastly, It looks a bit unorganized with all sorts of information thrown around on the page. I would lose the calendar and make the sponsor links a bar across the bottom.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for pointing that out....It is corrected and this is the portal page.

2. There is no direct link to the forums that I see on the homepage. Do I have to register before I can view them? You can click the home button which will take you to the forums page or either Freshwater Madness Banner. Most all of the forum can be viewed as a guest.

3. Lastly, It looks a bit unorganized with all sorts of information thrown around on the page. I would lose the calendar and make the sponsor links a bar across the bottom. I am still toying around with this as well.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for looking!

The site looks nice. It takes a lot of work setting up something like that. Nice job.

I'd suggest making the gallery visible to unregistered guests. You might get more site hits that way and those who start browsing around are more likely to register.

Catchy domain name. I like that.
