Im subscribed to freecycle, I get auto emails for the new ads there.. This is an actual email that I recieved last night. Goes to show everyone that if you go to one of the popular cosmetic parties, or any type of those home held parties, be VERY CAREFUL, you never know where the samples come from..

Email:

Trying to build home business, would like anything Avon you no longer
like or use that I might use as samples or examples.
Thanks

I typically do not respond to any of these, but I just really could not help myself on this one. While I do realize that the used stuff could be used for examples, it still makes me shudder that the probability of it being used of samples is very high.. Here is was I sent..

Im sorry, and dont mean to be rude, but that is disgusting..

Beware of sample products..

That could explain how the roll-on deodorant I received for Christmas already had a hair stuck to the little ball.

Some of the things that turn up in my inbox from freecycle requests are crazy, and you soon get to recognize people who are constantly asking for things. It's funny how greedy some people can be when things are free.

Yes I agree, I seen someone asking for a cell phone on there but it had to be a certain kind. I forget exactly what they wanted but it wasn't just a regular phone it had to be a "good" one.

Not really... I don't think they even make roll-on deodorant any more. Even if they did it wouldn't make a very good Christmas gift.

I see all kinds of crazy requests on Freecycle.

Flat screen TVs and monitors, cars, computers......

I'm seriously thinking of putting one up asking for a 3 bedroom 3 bath home with a finished basement. It can't hurt to ask can it?

I'll give you one. I paid $.75 for one in downtown Detroit. You just gotta promise to move in.

To cold. I don't do snow or temps in the single digits.

The 1 bright side to moving down South is the winters.
