I dont eat pancakes. Pancakes and syrup make me sick because they are too sweet/rich for me.

I have to wait for my husband to be elsewhere before I make pancakes. He used to commercial fish up in Alaska and pancakes were the only thing the cook would make for breakfast during the season and apparently pancakes, hard labor, and sleep deprivation on a pitching boat don't mix well. I can't even get away with waffles while he's home...and I love me some waffles even more than I love pancakes.

When I was in the Marshall Islands 2 years ago there was a little cafe that sold pancakes for $0.20 a piece. I would go there with some buddies and we would order 12 to 15 and have a contest to see who could eat the most at one time. I could only pack down 12. Later that month the cafe raises their price on pancakes up to $0.25. We never went back.
