I have a 5gl hex setup with a driftwood looking tree with java moss attached as foliage. There is also the Sub moss that is attached to a rock and 2 different types of java ferns attached to chola wood chunks and last but not least is frogbit floating.

When I do wc about 50% weekly the tank pretty much covers every plant in there with slime. I am not for sure if it is coming from the java moss or the frogbit.

I just want to make sure this is a good process and not bad. I see them pearl every once in a while too, so I know that they are happy just not to sure about this slime stuff.

Any ideas of what it is?
I will try to get some pics of it next wc. 1-10-09

It usually clears up within 5-6 hours.
