I have quite a few tanks all have clear water but one, my 55. A few months ago I added Fluval Pre-Filter rings to my canister and that is about the same time my water started getting clowdy. Has anyone had the same problem with this stuff. Or if you use it and like it let me know why.

i have used it before when i owned a canister filter. it supposed to disperse the water creating eddies and such. kinda like how a river flows over big rocks and stuff. the water is then filtered using the foam and bio media. i plan on using it on my filter.
my guess is the rings you used were dusty from the factory and needed to be rinsed first.
