some one just emailed me this out of the blue

Here is your chance to own 2 rare species.

Tigrinus 15-17" - $650
Blue Eyed Pleco 12"+ - $1200


is these prices even remotely reasonable??
 
I know nothing about those plecos but I know something about money these days and I would not pay that for a fish; it even hurts when you pay that for a computer!! Besides, BIG = OLD and you may (not necessarily; but possible) run the risk that the fish could die in 5-6 months.

i dont plan on buying those fish, im not crazy............................ well not in this particular matter anyways :screwy:

but they do have tons of other fish in a mere mortals price range and if they would overcharge a fish by hundreds of dollars then they might not be worth my money at all

I sooooooooooo want one ..................they are thousands .........2 to 3 k even higher .
THATS A STEAL ...............I would definately pay 1200 for that fish!!!!!!!!!! Even 2000 is a steal


you can get the other for a couple hundred tho thats not a deal

if your shelling out that kind of cash you better make sure what your getting is what they say.

Apparently there is another pleco that has blue eyes that look very similar to the infamous blue eyed panaque. However it is not, and no where near as rare.

:hi:I have A Blue Eyed Pleco (Panaque cochliodon) named Henry, he just turned 16 on Jan. 2,1993. I count the day I bought him as his Birthday. I paid $50.00 for him at a pet store & some say now he is worth $2000+
