Nice eel and fish! Are the cherry barbs kept with the eel? Doesn't he/she eat them?

I have two eels in there Lilim10, they both get fed chopped up earthworms daily and havent touched my barbs or my ghost shrimp yet! those barbs are waaaay to quick for them but I was suprised when they didnt eat any shrimp, the shrimp can even climb on the eels and they dont do anything!
