hello all,
so i'm looking for a little guidance on how to care for my plants. i have a clipping of a jungle val and 10 anubias in a 60 gallon tank. I am dosing with flourish, starting tonight, since i finally got around to setting everything up. so my questions are should i be dosing with anything else? should i use root tabs for the val? and lastly CO2? (I'm a little hesitant about this part because I am on sort of a tight budget and I have done research into it, but am still a little unsure what to do.) SO thank you in advance and I'll be around to answer questions and gather feed back.
Daniel

Both Jungle Val and Anubias sp. are low light plants and don't require any fertilization or CO2. Your fish waste is sufficient to fertilize them.

I knew anubias were low light plants, but vals i would hear they were low light plants on some sites and high light on others. thanks for your help.
also while its on my mind, putting a rubber band around the anubias to help it anchor would be ok right? i've heard that this is a fairly good way to keep the plant anchored, but im worried it will hinder the plants' root growth.

I'm not sure on the rubber band. You can try it. Just make sure it isn't too tight against it.

Most people use some sort of threading to anchor it...
