Someone asked me a really good question about portion sizes. So I'll post it here for anyone else who might wonder the same thing.

... how much less is a "starter" over a "golf ball" size?

I came up with that amount in case I couldn't spare enough to call it a full golf ball. And it seems to work well for people who don't really want that much of one type of moss. Many people really just want a tuft or two of several different mosses. So they'll get to see how different the textures are, how each moss looks as it actually grows in... and then decide which one they want to buy in a larger quantity.

A starter portion is at least half of a golf ball. (And whenever I can... if I have enough to spare, I'll make it more like 3/4 of a golf ball portion. Either way, it's at least half.)
