Im New with live plants!!!

Im New to this message board just letting u all know.


Im thinkin about putting live plants in my 55 gal tank but i got
15W Bulb's on both sides and i wanna know what kinda live plants can i grow or know where i can get a hood that is low cost and made that i can put more bulbs in so..i got more light too

For a 55gallon, if you want to stay low cost, I would go to Home Depot or Lowes and buy one of their generic shop lights. They have a four foot one that holds two 40W bulbs. This would give you 80W over that 55g. Not enough to make it a real high maintenence tank, but enough to grow some nice plants...

I just picked one up at Lowes for like 8 bucks without the bulbs...
