society has seriously skewed the definition of UFO.
UFO means "unidentified flying object".
that means, if i throw a fish through your yard, and you catch a glimpse of it but can't tell what it is, it's still a UFO.
so naturally.. even though the clear assumption in this case (and most, these days) that the "UFO" was an alien vessel of some sort,
it's really just a "duh?" thing that theyre calling whatever hit those things a UFO, since nobody saw it to begin with.

We'll, since the title wasn't "Mothership from space hits wind turbine" (signifying the identity of said object) then I guess UFO would be the correct term to use.
it most certainly is... except that as i said above.. the CLEAR assumption by those people is that it was aliens.
Silly people. Alien ships have advanced technology with detectors to prevent such collisions....unless the detectors went offline for some reason or the aliens were teenagers out drinking and driving in their ship or were playing chicken with the turbines and lost.
