Something went wrong with our home PC and I could no longer get on AC...We tried and tried to figure out what what wrong to no avail - so my wonderful husband went out and bought a laptop for me so I could access my favorite site (and stop whining!) Sometimes he really proves that he is worth all of the "other stuff" :grinyes: I love my guy! :hearts:

I know what you mean. I have a keeper too. After all, I have gone from 1- 30 gal tank to a 5 gal, 10 gal, 30 gal, 55 gal, and a 65 gal - all in 11 months. He works out of town and checks craigslist for that area for me before he goes. He says, "Well if you can get a BIGGER one for cheap, why not".

I am fortunate in my hubby is a pipefitter by trade, and use to build houses from the ground up.......we are redoing alot of the house next spring......I am getting inconspicuous floor drains in my LIVINGROOM that will drain out to our garden for h20 changes. I don't know how he is going to do it, but he said he is.

Excellent! My guy is an HVAC efficiando....but knows plumbing as well, so when we buy our next house, he will hook me up with a great tank room.....

That was so great of him!
I too, have a keeper.
33 yrs of marriage and I've brought home, raised ,or bred, dogs, cats, rabbits, chinchillas, hedgehogs, horses, pygmy goats, hairless guinea pigs, and of course, fish, the latest arrivals being Mudskippers :D
I even adopted a 6 wk old pot-bellied pig who for the 1st month, slept in our bed, under the covers, at our feet :)
Through it all he built cages, fences, & whatever else I needed
I wouldn't trade him for the world

I can see it now: "AC's Rent-a-Useful-Man" service. :grinyes:
Of course, in my case, I need to find a woman willing to support me in the lifestyle to which I would like to be accustomed. :D

Wow Sharon you sure do have a keeper!
Well, wouldn't you know it - after buying me the laptop; as of this morning we can now get back on ac on the desktop! :lipssealedsmilie: I think it was our ISP. But either way, I got the laptop I sooo wanted. He is definitely a keeper for me. :grinyes:
Edit: BTW JRR & Irish, my hubby may give lessons for a small fee! Just kidding...I have to put in a lot of hard work to keep him happy but it is worth it. I don't really consider myself "kept"....just lucky.

I agree noodles. It is give and take. You have to be a "keeper" wife to keep a "keeper" hubby!
