We think he's part cocker spaniel, part golden retriever. My sister's friend's grandfather had a half cocker/half golden retriever who the friend says looks exactly like our dog, so that's what we think he is.

Well, whatever he is he is very cute. He also seems to be very well groomed; his coat is fabulous. :) I've heard that cocker spaniels can be pretty hyper.

Hey ZZYX85, I think you are right on the part cocker spaniel, part golden retriever. I have an almost 14 year old female CS/GR mix that looks just like your dog only she's the color of french vanilla ice cream! I also have a 6 year old purebred black cocker who I love dearly but if I could get another mix of CS/GR, I"d get another in a heartbeat!!!

Ruby always used to INSIST on using the printer as a pillow and my feet as her mattress. I once had to explain to my professor why there was dog drool on the paper I turned in :lipssealedsmilie:. And her tongue lolling out is standard sleeping procedure :perv:

pinkertd, any photos of your CS/GR? I kinda actually want to see how Ollie might age. We're guessing not very well. GR don't age too well and neither do CS. Ollie might be really ugly when he's old :D. But I'm sure we'll still love him just as much.

Sometimes he's so hyper he'll run around the house then jumping on the bed knocking the mattress right off the box-spring.
(Pure mutt, pitbull mother and an unknown father.)

This is not a dog (no kidding) and she's not asleep there yet. But that's just wrong!

Cat's name was Kashta Sehenti, a sealpoint himalayan. She passed away several years ago at an old age -- and yes, she's where my username came from.

Sweet kitty.... lol. I grabbed my camera for the photo right away. And THEN I chased her down off there. As cute as she looked.. I couldn't allow that!

She's a chocolate labrador retriever. She's dilute and often referred to as silver or even blue. She's great!
