Link don't work...but nevermind... It's really as you mentioned, have glass cut, silicone together. Regardless of the size of the tank, I highly recommend finding a spare pair of hands to help you. If it'a REAL big tank (say 125g plus), get a couple spare pairs of hands... Best procedure is to run masking tape around all edges of the glass and then trim to suit. Then lay the base down on a bench, run a silicone bead along the bottom edge of one of the front/back panels, stand that in place. Have your spare hands steady this while you run a bead down and along one of the end edges. Stand end piece in place. Tape the joint together, but keep spare hands in place. Bead and stand other front/rear panel, tape, hold and bead and stand final end piece. Now run a nice heavy bead all the way round all the indside corners and clean up with a turps wettened finger. When to remove the tape is actually a mystery to me, as I have had mixed results removing wet or dry.

See if that helps any... Good luck!!

First, pop some popcorn and set aside several hours to read this (http://http://www.plantedtank.net/forums/diy/13669-diy-all-glass-tank-ada-style.html) thread.
