I am currently redoing my 37 gal. and it is gonna house 2 or 3 angel fish. Since I have about 2.46 watts per gallon (15 watt flourescent), what plants can I work with. Or, would it be better to stick with the fake ones??? Thanks!!

You did the math backwards. You divide 15 by 37. You have .41 watts per gal. That being said, some plants can grow with almost no light...but I'll leave that to the more experienced plant folks here.

If you're saying you have one 15 W bulb over a 37 gal tank (which is actually 0.41 wpg, as joe pointed out) , that's not enough to grow any plants at all. You will definitely need to upgrade if you want live plants.

You could probably grow anubias, and some floating plants would probably be alright, but that's about it. If you got another 15W lamp you'd be able to grow the low light plants. For anything else, you'll want at least 60W of lighting.

Java fern, Java moss, some Crypts, Anubias (as pointed out already), Elodea are but afew commonly available plants that would be happy in lower light levels - but I would certainly look into increasing your lighting.
Hope it helps,
Thom.
