New Snail - Color?

I found this little gem at Petsmart. His shell doesn't look too bad and he is about the size of a nickel. He was in a tank marked "Assorted Mystery Snails". Would you consider him a "wild" variety? Since he is a Mystery snail, and his color is a mystery, I'm calling him "Sherlock". 77169

sure does look healthy for a petsmart snail, congrats! Sorry, I can't help you on the shell color, I've decided to stay away from the ever-confusing world of color variants.

that one is a mystery, I think it would be classed as a wild colour, tho in the 1st pic he kinda looks dark striped purple but then the brown bit makes me think wild lol. pretty tho

He was the only one with that color. I'm curious to see if the color changes as he/she matures. This was the most active snail in the tank too.

That would be great! He does have a kind of reddish cast. I'll keep you posted if his color changes.

Lighting does change how you look at the color. Burgundy as well. I have a few burgundy snails here.:)
