30 gal soon to be mine

In a couple of months, I'm getting a 30 gallon planted.
Would it be okay on a upper floor? Could the upper level support the weight of it? or would it be better off on the base floor?

No problem putting it on the top floor. It should wiegh only about 300 pounds.

Shouldn't be a problem at all. Water is 8.3 pounds per gallon, so with water and rock ... around 300 lbs. Plenty of people weigh more than that. :werd:

I'd only start being concerned if you were going above 55 gallons.
