gravel question

i didnt like the color of my gravel, (black) so i bought some brown and white and dumped it in, and mixed it all up, and then it just looked hideous. so i got some tan, and covered the whole bottom wtih tan, leaving the ugly mix underneath. would this affect anything? im sure when i go to vacuum it, its gonna be a mess all over again :(

ya eventually it will mix together... at least your gravel isn't to bad, I bought a full set up from some one that had pink gravel in the tank. I havn't had the chance to change that yet:rolleyes:

Just give yourself some peace of mind and just go ahead and pull all that old gravel out and replace it with new. You'll be glad you did.

i tried to aquascape once! :D

i bought this neat purple gravel that i thought would be great, til i got it under the aquarium lights and it turned hot pink. so my next effort was i laid out like roads with yellow gravel. i thought it was pretty awesome til the first time i vacuumed. ;)

needless to say it found the trash shortly after that experiment. :D
