Hi Friends !

I've to catch the frontosas from my Tank within 2 or 3 hours as I've finally decided to move them - I've found a good home for them. I've tried the DIY Soda Bottle Trap but they seem to be too intelligent to get caught... I dont want to tear down my tank so I cant net them... Any other ideas on how I may catch them ? Should I try to reduce the water level and just pick them up by hand from the substrate ? Will it be very stressful to them ?

Kindly guide me friends - I need help and guidance very urgently...
Thanks and REgards

When I had to catch my angels recently, the only way I could do it was to place the net in the tank for a while, when they were back out and about (net still in tank) they saw me come into the room and thinking it was feeding time came to the top of the tank, drop in some food to distract them, and bring the net up from behind, worked for me.

A betta I had to catch was much easier, put the net in the tank, betta swims into net, done.

well emptying the tank will help. try 50% with two nets. keep lowing the water until you can catch them. case them with one net and have them swim into the other.
