Honestly, I'm surprised to hear that even low light corals are living in that system. A 25W NO bulb is woefully inadequate for even low light corals. I'd be willing to bet that the corals are barely alive, especially since the person mentioned that the tank "needs work." The Jebo skimmer is likely total junk... most Jebo stuff is- it's some of the cheapest stuff out there, and especially for SW, you get what you pay for. The hydrometer generally costs about 5-10 bucks and is hardly even worth that (refractometer is definitely the way to go in terms of accuracy). The fact that the person includes a bottle of Prime is great for your FW tanks, but tells me that he/she is using tap water in the SW tank. Bad idea; this is likely a huge factor in the algae problem that is mentioned in the posting. If he/she was using RO/DI water, which is highly recommended, then there is no need for a dechlorinator of any kind. Stability is also totally unnecessary. If the live rock is cured and the tank is established, then that's the bio filter right there. Crushed coral is generally a bad idea in a SW tank as well. Many hobbyists believe that it leads to nitrate issues as detritus becomes trapped down in it, as opposed to sand. Also, there is no mention of the brand/flow rate of the powerhead, and no mention of the flow rate of the Penguin filter.

Wait it out. There are MUCH better deals to be had IMO. ;)
