IMG_1067.JPGSonguru (who is a real guru when it comes to Assassin snails LOL) suggested stiff and rough surfaces for my Assassin tank. I've added this ship ornament that was left over from a previous tank project. It has a rough texture and a variety of areas to attach eggs (hopefully). I've also added a tall anubias. The pond snails are reproducing nicely in the tank. I hope to add the Assassins from the 6 gallon in a few weeks.

Love the boat and should work as a great base for them to lay on plus the fact that they can go inside is also a bonus.

Thank you for the kind comments I'm really just an avid hobbiest that has spent a lot of time watching my Assassins.

The ship ornament also has an opening on the bottom as well as in the back. I've noticed that the Assassins do like to hide sometimes. Thanks for your help Soundguru.
