Hey! I'm Taylor. I only have a freshwater ten gallon set up right now, but I'm saving up for a 35 gallon or bigger.
I'm a newbie in the fishy world, so if I ask a lot of dumb questions, as I probably will, please excuse me.
I'd rather make a fool out of myself here as to risk the lives of my underwater pals. :D

Sounds good. If you're saving up money, check Craigslist. In this economy a lot of people are giving up the hobby and selling equipment cheap.

Thanks for the welcomes!
And the only problem with craigslist is I live far away from the only listed town. :(
But! I have been looking around, so hopefully I'll come across something.

welcome to ac. There are no dumb questions, its better to ask what you feel you need to know than to make a big mistake in the long run. So ask away :)

Hi Taylor
Welcome to the AC forums.
Good advice from theotheragentm........keep checking craigslist.Even if you are far away from the closest listed town you can still save up to 50% on any large aquarium.I did.It did take about 2 months of scouring the adds every day.I was able to get a 20 high complete set-up for(tank, hood, light, gravel, heater, even some live plants) for only 40.00 plus 25.00 for delivery. From about 22 miles away.At my local chain that would have cost me well over 120.00
