onyx sand and pygmy corys

hey now all,

I am about to do my big al's order now, and I do plan to have some easy low light plants in my aquarium. Would onyx sand be a good choice? I know its good for plants, but I plan on having about 5 pygmy corys in my tank. is this sand ok for the corys?

Onyx sand is a great choice on a lot of levels- super for plants, gorgeous, and perfectly fine for cories.
