I would like to replace the metal stand on my 29g with a nicer pine (black or oak color) stand with a door. Does anyone have one? I am in Bloomfield, NJ :help:

Thanks,

Chris

Sadly, I only have the pine canopy. Sorry.

Hey...I don't have a stand for you, but I just built one myself from scratch. It took about 4 hours without any power tools at all and costed no more than $60 total in materials. If you have some basic talent and a saw...drill...hammer..and some wood glue then I can tell you how I made it. Plus its at least 5 times stronger than cheap particle board stands that cost over 3 times as much. PM me and I'll tell you exactly what I did...I'll even give you the measurements of the things I cut and what not. Sorry I don't have pictures, but I need to add the door still and its totally finished...ok and the stain as well, but its pine...underneath and knotty pine panelled...looks good. My tank is 29 gallons too....measures 12.5 inches by 30.25 inches if I remember correctly. Give yourself at least .25 inches added to those numbers for your cuts though in case you attempt to do it. Good luck!
