Shrimp???? Experiment......

I didn't know if this would be ok in the invert section so I just brought it here for general discussion.

I am still really new to shrimp, I had really only had ghost shrimp before I bought some from Jinkz. I bought some of her blue/black shrimp and I was wondering if anybody had mixed them with some other neocaridina species. I am bidding on some blue pearls and I am afraid that if I mix them I will find out the hard way that they are of same specie and I will end up with a tank full of mutts, and this is so not what I want. So I was just wondering if anybody had tried this yet or not.

if they are in the same genus, theres a chance they will interbreed

Yeah I know that but see we don't know the specie of the blue/black shrimp they are still under investigation to figure them out.

well then, I guess if you try and breed them you'll find out if they do or don't. maybe you could be the one to find out if they're the sameish.
