I see its going slower then usual, I tried to take it apart but was afraid to break something. can someone direct me to a site to take this thing apart? The spray bar seems to not want to come off, its all connected as it came this way and I need to really clean it good. thanks

does the empeller come off to clean? I got all of it apart, but the impeller, not sure how to get that apart with out breaking unless it does not come apart.

If I recall on mine, the whole impellar assembly in the middle slides up and out once you take the spray bars and other bits off.

What exactly is going slower? the bio wheel or the flow?

The bio wheel is fine as long as it is moving and not completely stopped.

Pull the intake pipe out of the middle. Then pull up on the 2-90deg elbows at the center of the filter. The elbows are just friction fit onto the spray bars and have an O-ring on them. Once that is out the impeller is down in the bottom of the center part of the filter and it can also be pulled out and cleaned.

Or if you want you can find the gray clip on the side of the filter/spray bar...pull down on the thumb grips (don't squeeze too hard). Once that clip comes off I think the whole spray bar comes out the side.

I took it all apart, but can not reach the empeller, the thing is inside a tube. does it come apart or so I just clean around that tube?

water flow... it was so slow ...... I did take it apart, just not the empeller as its inside a tube . but it is going much faster now ( the water flow)

The impeller is on the bottom when you take the center out of the filter. Just pull down on the impeller and it pops out.

Sometimes when you take the intake U-tube out, the impeller assembly will stay in the motor well rather than coming out with the intake. In that case, you can either reach down and pull it out if you have skinny fingers, otherwise you'll need a pair of hemostats or maybe some needlenose pliers.
