125g tank with 2 oscars and various cichlids. Running a Cascade 1200 and HOT Magnum Pro both with simple outlets. Have a Rena XP4 coming. Should I convert everything to spray bars and if so, why? Surface movement right now is decent but not spectacular. Currently the fish I have knock the heaters crooked on a daily basis. Your thoughts appreciated.
Thanks.

I've got an xp4, and 2 xp 3 on my 150. I've got powerjet at each end for surface agitation, and a sprabar kinda in the middle.

No need to unless you are dosing Co2. Otherwise, I like the even flow they produce.

I have a DIY sump and spray bar. The spray bar gives me great circulation. It is angled to give modest surface agitation and a larger percentage of below surface agitation. There are no plants.

My Oscars also play with the heaters.
