im not sure whether or not to buy bottom feeder fish food or to just keep feeding them normal fishfood (they dont get it right away, they find em on the bottom...)

i have a loach a frog and a chinese algae eater... the loach and frog eat the food, but slowly and im not sure they get enough... and the algae eater might not get enough natural algae so im concerned (and he wont eat algae wafers)

should i buy bottom feeder food?

lets just pretend i dont have the loach as it shouldnt really matter what kind of loach as i am more concerned with the other two fish

Unless they look unusually thin (ie sunken belly) I wouldn't worry.

For the loaches sake it it does matter what type it is. Different species need different habitat, conditions, and foods. A 29 gal. is a small tank for most loach species. Many loaches don't like to be alone but require the company of several of their own. So you see to those of us who love loaches and really care about their well-being, it does matter. For the loaches sake, try Hikari sinking carinvore pellets and depending on the species maybe an occasional slice o cucumber or blanched zuchini.
Or if you're really not that concerned with it maybe you should rehome it to someone who is?

Your weather loach wants cooler temps than a yoyo and or a clown. The yoyo or the clown should be kept in groups. Also you would likely need to up grade your tank size for either species. Especaily for the clowns.

A 29gal is too small for yoyo loaches(botia almorae), and far too small for clowns unless you plan to get at least a 6 ft. tank in the next year.
