Just wanted to share some cute pics.

During the day green tree frogs try to find the safest place they can to sleep and escape the prying eyes of snakes and predatory birds. During the night they come out to hunt insects and then return to the exact same spot every day. It just so happens that the gap under the edge of the boot of our car is a perfect place for them. No need for me to have a pet frog :).

I found these four all together under the car boot, seems the word got out. Don't worry they were all put into a safe spot, they will however probably just return to the car the next day. There is also a frog that lives behind a picture hanging on the wall in the kitchen, every time it croaks the picture bounces back and forward, HILARIOUS.

OMG I can only dream of frogs like that! So cute and you don't even have to keep them, eh? So sweet :) Thanks for sharing!

Ps. Their feet are so adorable!

Yeah and they don't get scared at all during the day and can be handled easily, as long as I rinse my hands first its no problem for them at all. There's about 6 living in and around our house. During the night they eat insects attracted by the lights, sweet life for them.

And yeah there sticky little feet are just the most gorgeous thing.

Too sweet - my daughter would be very jealous to see this post!

Just googled that species, we have a couple of species here that look similar to those. Pretty with the white stripe.

This is what they are eating :), largest dragonfly in the world 11cm long (4.5 inches) and a 16cm (6.5 inch) wingspan.

I love those frogs, and almost bought a group of three at one of the local pet stores here. They sell for around $25 each, though. I had made plans to buy them, got a tank ready for them, and then went to a reptile show and fell in love with a baby chameleon. But these will be my next frogs (these or red eyed tree frogs).
