NEW NIKON D60

I found a deal on this camera and these pics was taken right out of the box, once I watch the videos and practice I hope to capture some amazing photos of our fish

I purchased a speed flash along with the camera I am not sure how or when to use it as I am a NEWBIE to Photography. I will be spending the next couple of weeks watching videos that came with the Nikon and practicing . I will be going out to day to buy an extra battery so I do not have to stop. We have some special projects that we are working on I would like to use this camera to document our findings and progress.

I will also be reading all the info I can get my hands on.
(any suggestions?)
