Flourish and PMDD

Are these the same? Just doing some house cleaning and have about 1/2 bottle of flourish left. Can they be dosed together? I'm currently adding 2 drops of PMDD per 10g tank.

Not the same. Flourish contains traces while PMDD is the same as dosing NPK+trace in one shot. The concentration of the NPK/trace varies greatly. (unless im wrong?!)

no i think its one part each. there is a break down somewhere too lazy to look. pmdd is also a lot cheaper vs flourish.

if you are looking for a Flourish equivalent then get Plantex CSM+B

I'm currently using the PMDD pre-mix from aquariumfertilizer.com. So by using this, I do not need to use the Flourish correct?

Depends what is in the PMDD mix. Flourish is a trace mix.

I use PMDD AND flourish.
When I reorder from Aquariumfertilizer, I will also order CSM-B.

The PMDD mix contains the following:

PMDD Pre-Mix 1 lb contains 1 part each of Potassium Nitrate, Potassium Sulfate, Magnesium Sulfate, Plantex CSM+B.

So I was curious if my Flourish is now obsoleted due to this or do/can I dose the Flourish (with no issues) along side of it?

if you are already dosing CSM+B you don't really need flourish
