Can plant dips help in killing bugs

I have these tiny white things that I think are a type of copepod or something. It doesn't really matter exactly what they are I am just wondering if washing the plants and doing a dip of some sort will help to thin their numbers for when I move them to one of my other tanks.

You can do a bleach dip. 5% bleach to water for about a minute or two.
