Yep..little bugger was a very adept hider. I had a group of tiger barbs with an angel for a year or two. I currently have 7 gouramis and a male betta all together.

I've had a male betta, several female bettas, several different kinds of gouramis, a few kinds of fin nippers and an angel live together without trouble.

I had a sunfish and a feeder guppy live together. I still have the guppy. Pretty funny to watch them together. I think i have a picture somewhere.

I have an angelfish with tiger barbs, blackskirt tetras and serpae tetras. It's the only place that I could put this angelfish due to it's aggressive nature. Strangely it works and much of the tank aggression has stopped.

back when i was a newb, i kept both a male and female betta in 2.5 gallon tank, they never fought and had like 7 spawns together. when i learned they're not supposed to be kept together long term i was surprised. idk if that counts as weird

My friend use to have an oscar that had a pet goldfish. When my friend would add more feeders, the oscar would eat them an leave his "pet fish" alone.

My oscar does the same thing... I have a "feeder" goldie that has been in there a long time
I put more feeders in, he eats them and leaves his "buddy" alone
and its not that hes too big either... the goldfish in question would EASILY fit into my oscars mouth no problem
I really dont get it..

I also have a tiger barb, and a male betta in my community tank with live bearers, cories, and plecos
