Yep..little bugger was a very adept hider. I had a group of tiger barbs with an angel for a year or two. I currently have 7 gouramis and a male betta all together.
I've had a male betta, several female bettas, several different kinds of gouramis, a few kinds of fin nippers and an angel live together without trouble.
I have an angelfish with tiger barbs, blackskirt tetras and serpae tetras. It's the only place that I could put this angelfish due to it's aggressive nature. Strangely it works and much of the tank aggression has stopped.
Angels, serpea's, Dwarf gourami's, CAE, SAE's, Head and tails, Neon's, Black Neon's, Cory's, White skirt's, Guppies, Swords, A Yellow lab and an electric blue Ahli.:eek3:
back when i was a newb, i kept both a male and female betta in 2.5 gallon tank, they never fought and had like 7 spawns together. when i learned they're not supposed to be kept together long term i was surprised. idk if that counts as weird
i use to have 2 male bettas together and they never fought...it was very weird lol but the got along good...mabye it was because they were in a 30 gallon aquarium
