Nice! I really that tank because it is two things: original and natural looking. I've never seen someone use a piece of wood that big in a tank but it looks good. Did you find it locally or did u buy it somewhere?

Your right Kveeti, but in spite of my obvious shyness I will explain.
My wife just got a Powershot 80 for her birthday from a business partner. I'm the lucky spouse with the sharing wife.
The wood is a weathered cedar log that washed up on the north shore of lake Superior. It has taken many weeks (and water changes) for the tannic acid to settle down enough so that it doesn't look like cold tea in my tank. I'll have to get some good angle shots on it, it is pretty well hollow with a sort of dual tunnel that runs up the middle of it.
Yep, love those neons. If only they would stay still and pose...
