I am currently new to this hobby of plant growing. I have a unused 55 gallon and a 18 gallon. I thought since I'm don't know much, i'll start with the 18 first. From the research that did on this site, and etc, I figure my tank can only support low light plants.
I am looking for a $20~25 (including plants and delivery)
I have java moss already, so i don't need that. I was researching about dwarf hairgrass, but they didn't sell those, so i got chain link sword. Also I brought some 4 leaf clover before i did any research. :o(it's a high-light plants) Beside that i also have this big plant that i don't know the name.
maybe someone can make up a package or something. PM me

Welcome to AC.
What lighting do you have now?
CO2? Ferts?
I think the big plant is a melon sword (Echinodorus Osiris)
Some more learned people may correct me.

Hi, your the first to welcome me
I'm doing no co2 or fert. I still haven't grasp the most efficient way of dissolving co2 diy (yeast) into the the water. I heard there were lots of inefficient way (youtube) . As for fert, I thought eco-complete should do it? I brought a 20 pound bag for $32 :silly: at the pet store, I somehow regret it
thank you for the ID and chart, it helps alot

Like MG said, he has a lot of low light plants for sale. I have 2-2 1/2 WPG which is medium light.
Eco complete is great substrate. But you should ease into some ferts. The least expesive is to buy dry ferts (aquariumfertilizer.com is one)
I use PMDD which stands for poor mans dosing drops, and Flourish for trace elements.
When I reorder I will order some CSM-B and use that instead of Flourish.
I diffuse my DIY (yeast& sugar) CO2 through my cannister filter. I inject it directly into the intake and the impeller chops up the bubbles. I used to inject through a "hang on back" filter.
I wish you good luck and I'm glad you are going with live plants.
Send a PM to MG200o0 or just watch the classifeds here for low light plants.
