Click images, as I left them large so you good see the stuff easily.

Keep in mind that this tank is just starting a cycle (Just added ammonia this past sunday). Tank was setup about a week before that running everything in the tank + the filter with no ammonia.

What the heck is this crap? It's definitely growing off the driftwood, and whatever else growing off the plant... Arrrrrggg.

I have no clue, actually. Looks like a fungus of sorts.

looks like biofilm from the glass...did you clean the inside of the glass latley??

The stuff on the driftwood is normal, just leave it, it will soon disappear.

I have a 10 gallon that only has soil, gravel and water in it. The soil is holding the ammonia at 1.0. It also has this kind of growth. It appears to come from the wood in the soil. It vacuums very easily.

Thanks guys. It is definitely "cottony"... And yes, it looks like it's on the glass, but it's not... It's on the driftwood only..

Any ideas for what's on the plant?
