How rude would it have been to ignore the president! I think his acknowledgment of the president was well done ans respectful.

Some people are so unhappy with their own lives that they use the control they have to ruin life for others. That's stupid.

What's ridiculous is that 2/3 of the people saying "ridiculous" are spelling it wrong
Seriously, that sucks. :bs:

Obviously not only can some people not spell correctly, they have no idea when it comes to Drill and Ceremony as to what is entailed. I feel 6 months is too long and 90 days would have been more appropriate. These are not High School or College kids, these are adults that have to show discipline and respect at all times as well as proper decorum, especially when in a parade and in uniform. A wave is not being respectful when done in uniform as he was. Neither was his "winking" at the Commander-In-Chief acceptable. Yes, that was his "uniform of the day".

when i read the title i thought he would be a little more crazy in his wave than that, seems uncalled for to suspend him
He is from Cleveland! It is outrageous!
wait, does he dot the "i" in ohio when the band spells it out with people or is that somebody else...?
This is a HUGE story here! They are a big part of Cleveland tradition! Now he is not going to be able to play in the St. Patrick's Day Celebration! :(

I'm not sure how you can confuse "THE BEST D*** BAND IN THE LAND" with the Cleveland Firefighter's Memorial Pipes & Drums, but no he does not dot the I.
That's outrageous.:shakehead:

Dumb, but you have to realize that the organization has rules to enforce...

Riddickuloumous.
Actually, that is a little harsh I'd say. But, rules are rules I guess.

exactly.... having been in a marching band, drum majors have rules to enforce and follow, and while i'm not sure that they were competing during the inaugural parade, it's considered bad protocol to "kiss up" like that.

this is still a bunch of bull****. he was only being polite by waving back at the president. i hope the president speaks out and supports him.

Politeness or not, consider the fact that he stepped beyond what is considered appropriate for his position. I'm sure he is well aware that he broke protocol.

I think it was an act of treason lets shoot the guy. 6 months suspended after so many years of good service seems a little light. Shooting is the only way to go.
Imagine what would happen if he threw a shoe.

seems like reason to me. now if we get the rest of them from ohio....

Sounds like the bitterness of a Lakers fan who is upset that the Cavs have won more games. :silly:
