Kuhlis are best kept in a large group if you want to see them more often. Keepng 6 is a good start.

Ya what Lupin said. I starting to think on a bigger tank for my yoyos, and they are in 75.

I got some today. They're out in the open. Right now four of them are cuddled in a ball in the corner. Some are half buried. :evil_lol:

^ Yep, they need to be in groups of at least 6. I have a school of 8 in my 30 and they look so funny during feeding time, most of them come out and bum rush the middle of the tank for a meal of bloodworms.

I have about 15 kuhlis in my 55 gallon. They are still shy fish. But honestly the more you have the more you will see them.

They were only $1.99, so I'll probably get more soon since they are little vacuum cleaners.

I ended up with a yoyo loach a couple days ago...it was in with my driftwood purchase, lol. Anyway, the lfs told me I could keep him so I stuck him in with my tiger barbs. I thought he would hide, but he hangs out with them. They chase eachother around, but then they spend calm times together too. I thought he would spend more time on the bottom, but it's about 50/50 bottom, midwater. Pretty trippy.

Michi, what tank size do you have? If at all possible get 4 or more loaches provided you have room in at least a 55g. Bonus fish are nice but only if you can house them...Still a very cool story

My yoyos go in my driftwood where all I see is a little tail.
